Hostan Gouthier will discuss the power of creative arts in and the role VR has in changing how we connect, communicate, and engage with this new technology, changing lives and the world around us through our creativity.
Hostan “TheHawk” Gouthier lifetime interest in the world of music and film led him to create the BEATS OF HELL Songbooks Initiative in 1996, which founded Natural Records Studios headquarters in Montreal Canada, where The Hawk is Artistic, Overall Director. Beats of Hell are undertaking a very bold task, the task of producing sounds that touch the soul with the sole goal to empower the latter. He will be presenting with his son, Toussaint Gouthier, his business partner.
Roblox Studio in VR: Build, Play, Rebuild, Share
Philip Williams, Teacher Librarian, NIST International School
Everyday crowds of Roblox Studio enthusiasts aged 7-11 come into their elementary library in a building and play with frenzy. Philip Williams will share lessons on how creation for VR requires different design features and navigating our worlds in VR requires care. He will share some of these experiences and lessons learned then finish with an invitation to build a community of Roblox Studio VR experimenters to take the possibilities of Roblox Studio further.
An International School Teacher Librarian from Australia who has worked for over 10 years in libraries in Beijing, Mexico City, Vientiane (Laos) and Bangkok, Thailand, Philip Williams uses Roblox Studio for their library, and enjoys sharing the possibilities for the school and library experience.
