Exploring Civil Events in Education

Educators in VR

Due to popular demand, Educators in VR is hosting a special open discussion for educators and students to discuss the current events with the political challenges in the United States, UK, and globally, Black Lives Matter and other social unrest, the pandemic, conspiracies, and civic issues and how to educate students in the face of so much overindulgence in falsehoods.

Lorelle will be joined by Caitlin Krause, author of Designing Wonder: Leading Transformative Experiences in VR, and Director of Community and Business Development for the Virtual World Society.

Bring your thoughts on educating students of all ages during this time when discernment is so critical to the information flowing through our scrolls past our eyes. The Center for Media Literacy (CML) said that “the heart of media literacy is informed inquiry.” Let's work together to combat disinformation with thoughtful inquiry.

Educators in VR hosts workshops, classes, and meetups across multiple VR platforms. Get involved.
