How to Host VR Events

Educators in VR's event production team hosts over 600 VR events annual for free, paid, and commercial workshops, classes, meetups, socials, and conferences. Donna McTaggart and Lorelle VanFossen will share tips and techniques for hosting your events in VR, especially in AltspaceVR, though the techniques apply to most VR platforms.

Lorelle VanFossen is co-founder of Educators in VR, long-time educators in web publishing, social media, and digital storytelling, and teacher and trainer in virtual world event production, management, skills, and teaching.

Donna McTaggart is a VR event producer. With a background in social media and producing events in the physical world, she transitioned easily to VR. Donna began hosting AltspaceVR 101's as well as assisting VR Church by branching out their services to the midnight hour. Live Loved began on Dec 2019 and has grown into a community that meets a minimum of 7 days a week. Now operating under the name LETS MEET IN VR, Donna strives to move beyond event production to a creating unique experiences for clients.
