Cyberbullying: Open Discussion

vCoaching & Personal Development Team - Educators in VR

PAST EVENT

October is Educators in VR's 3rd Annual Cyberbullying Month designed to promote healthy and active discussions about the issues around social VR personal safety and encouraging sportsmanlike behavior in and around social VR, esports, and the metaverse. This is our opportunity to discuss the issues, challenges, philosophies, and behaviors about this critical issue, and how to make the metaverse safe and inclusive. Join us to discuss your experiences, thoughts, and expertise on the subject with CaptainVR Dana-Maria and the vCoaching and Personal Development Team.

The vCoaching Team Project focuses on XR technology, apps, and training experiences to help you be your best self personally and professionally.

Dana-Maria aka CaptainVR is the Team Leader of the Educators in VR vCoaching and Personal Development team, and she brings her evangelism in using virtual reality for coaching, training, and therapy applications to help people "captain their own lives." The research and application of virtual reality is a powerful tool for helping people to confront fears, build life skills, reduce stress and boost immune systems, and become more effective in their professional lives and work.

This is an open discussion not a therapy session.

Educators in VR is dedicated to integrating VR, AR, and XR into education and business. We host over 600 VR free and paid events, classes, workshops, and conferences annually covering all aspects of education. Educators in VR started in AltspaceVR when educators came together to solve their common challenges, and has grown to over 2,500 members from around the world, and over a dozen Team Projects (special interest groups).
